Later, he left his ticket collector job, attended Indian team selection match and finally got selected in team India. Dhoni didn’t have support only from his family, but support from his real childhood friends (Chittu and Chhotu Bhaiya) as well as his coach and entire Bihari fraternity. Despite he was worried for MS Dhoni’s career, he allowed him for sports with due support from his wife and daughter (Dhoni’s mother and sister). Mahi’s father, Pan Singh Dhoni was very worried for his career as every father has the same concern towards his children. Still, his coach was doubtful about Mahi’s batting skills, so later, he established himself as the real batsman cum finisher in State level tournament. When his school team had Mahi as the last batsman to bat against the opponent team and had to score 12 runs in 2 balls, in that situation, Mahi hit 2 sixes in last 2 balls and made his team the winner. But then, the day came when Mahi proved himself that he is the best batsman as well as the world’s best finisher. His coach never allowed him to bat since he was doubtful in the batting skills of Mahi. His coach had notion that Mahi is well suited for wicket keeping whereas Mahi had a wish to bat in the ground. But later he accepted the proposal and the very next day he made his presence in the practice ground for wicket keeper audition and finally he got selected for the school team. When his coach asked him to play cricket then he replied that he was not interested to play with small ball. During that time he was much more interested in Football, Table Tennis and Badminton, instead of cricket. Then suddenly, movie goes to the flashback where teenager Mahi was practicing in school’s football ground as a goal keeper. The movie starts from the dressing room of Wankhede Stadium, where Mahi ( MS Dhoni) was analyzing the situation and planning to bat at 3 rd down. It was World cup 2011 final match against Sri Lanka.
